Dragons take on the Dragons Egg Challenge

The end of  September saw a new challenge to the Dragons squad in the shape of an egg, a Dragons Egg to be precise. Having been approached by Paul Turner of BBC’s Dragons Den fame on Twitter, a challenge was thrown down to see if some of our squad members could face the heat of Alf Turner Butcher’s Ltd new product the Dragons Egg

Taking place in the ASDA store in Llandudno North Wales, the Dragons in their Gap Personnel sponsored, Raging Bull made kits, enjoyed the Scotch eggs with a bite. Some of the proceeds from sales goes towards the charity Help For Heroes a charity the North Wales Dragons have supported in the past.

Offering the product out to the customers who were streaming in and out of the store it was plain to see that Alf Turners legacy is in safe hands with Paul, his brother and investor Peter Jones.

We wish to thank ASDA, Paul and Peter Jones for allowing us to be a part of this promotion and hope you can take on a challenge from our football team in the future.

Colwyn Bay FC show their support

The North Wales Dragons will once again be taking to the field of play in October as we take on the CAIS Lions in a charity fundraiser. We will be focused on raising funds and awareness for this years chosen charity, Make-A-Wish UK, while the Lions will be raising funds and awareness for Change Step.

The match will be played on October 20th at the Red Lions Foods Stadium of Colwyn Bay FC who are fully behind the event. The Dragons Co-Founder Chris Roberts and CAIS Lions manager Richard Evans recently visited the Seagulls home and were introduced to current player manager Frank Sinclair who kindly posed for photos with the two managers and the players kits.

We would like to thank Frank Sinclair, Carol Beard and Colwyn Bay FC for allowing us this opportunity. The Free Entry match will kick off at 2:00pm and will be followed by a raffle and an auction of prizes.
